Do you have both male an female traits?

Updated: May 16, 2022

God has both male and female traits; so does the apostle Paul; so do I.

God self describes in both female and male terms because God has no gender. Both male and female are made in God's image.

"God created humanity in God’s own image, in the divine image God created them, male and female God created them. -Genesis 1:27 CEB

Angels may be without gender because they do not marry and are not given in marriage (Matt 22:30)

Jesus also self-describes with both male and female traits.

Paul self describes in both female and male terms because both male and female are made in God's image.

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28

Do you see both male and female character traits in yourself?

Are there truly any character traits that are not held by all genders?

I don't like to ask for directions; I like to read maps and puzzle out solutions. This does not make me male. I am cisgender female.

People are given talents, born with strengths, regardless of gender!

All people are saved by the grace of God, not by the intercession of a priest or saint, not by a parent or spouse. Women and men may approach God in the same way.

My novel, Forgotten Followers: from Broken to Bold, shows Jesus #empoweringwomen as patrons, disciples, and apostles. It tells the story of two women who work to overcome their brokenness and struggle with self-worth and racism. It shines the light on every woman who interacts with Jesus, many of whom have been maligned, belittled forgotten.
