US Paperbacks:
📬Shipping of Paperbacks from Canada to the US became unviable August 29, 2025, after the United States suspended its duty-free “de minimis” threshold for all countries, including Canada. While books are classed as HS4901 and theoretically duty-free, the US is assessing fees based on recent policy changes. Canadian services have no way to know how much the US will assess until the package arrives at the border. After paying all delivery costs, Canadian packages are stopped as the US assesses the tariff fee and charges the American recipient. My experience has shown that the fee may be more than the paperback in the package. Americans are now limited to buying my paperback from American services such as Amazon.
