Reader Views has published my article, where I show how to transform 29 views to over 5,000.
This article was published here:

One of the methods authors use to tell the world about our books is being a guest on a podcast interview.
I was interviewed on the ReaderViews podcast, called Inside Scoop Live!
I was able to ampify the reach of this interview by creating short clips from it and adding images and video. It's basically creating a B-roll of footage to supplement or enhance the primary footage of our interview. The shorter videos each covered one of the Q&A's of the podcast, creating more bite-sized pieces that were easy for viewers to enjoy. I hope that by increasing views of my interview, it may increase my followers and increase exposure to my book. I also hope that it will encourage other podcast hosts to have me as a guest on their show, amplifying the views of their show.
"I was happy with my Inside Scoop Live podcast, and here’s how I leveraged it to reach more people. On YouTube, the Inside Scoop Live post with my interview has 29 views. From that video, I have created 16 shorter videos, and together, they have already attracted over 1808 views on YouTube and 3,751 views on TikTok, and more on Facebook and Instagram. The views continue to grow, boosting my follower community. Yes, if you want to grow your audience, it’s worth the time to repurpose this excellent content and get the maximum value from your podcast interview." - Excerpt from the article
The article goes on to describe the distinctions between Clips, Remixes, and Creating your own videos, and how to do each type of video or reel. It also provides a checklist of best practices to keep in mind when you are posting videos. You can read the article at no cost, with no paywall and no sign-up required:
