According to Paul, in his letter to the Romans, God has given us various gifts. The gifts are based on God's grace to us, not according to our gender. God may give humans gifts in prophecy, ministry, serving, teaching, exhorting, encouraging, giving, leading, showing kindness, and bringing good cheer.
Paul said it again in Galatians 3:28: "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." (NIV)
And again in 1 Corinthians 12:12-13
The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles,[a] some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit.....
1 Corinthians 12: 26-27 "If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honoured, all the parts are glad. All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it. (NLT)
Look for the gifts God has given to you; pray that you may hear what God is calling you to do and that you will have the strength to follow God's word.
